Geneva B. Lee, age 96, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benton, Kentucky.
Mrs. Lee was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on September 24, 1925, to the late Samuel Charles Tucker and Clara (Wyatt) Tucker Hutchens. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and retired from Fisher Price in Murray. She was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Elvie Thomas Lee, who died in 1990; stepfather, Robert Porter Hutchens; her daughter, Wynnona Lee McClure; son-in-law, Herbert "Hub" McClure; two sisters, Orpha Keel and Nadine Beane; one brother, Artell Tucker; one stepbrother, Halford Hutchens; and by two brothers -in-law, Keys Keel and Halford Beane; and one sister-in-law, Eva Tucker.
Mrs. Lee is survived by one son Terry Lee and his wife Barbara of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Teresa Gore and husband Shawn of Almo, Kentucky and Stacey Lee and friend Zach Martin of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two great-grandchildren, Lee Gore and Travis Gore both of Almo, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. John Bedwell will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Active pallbearers will be David Feagin, David Norsworthy, Shawn Gore, Lee Gore, Travis Gore, and Zach Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Lubie Parrish, Elvin Parrish, Craig Banks, Larry Morris, and Jerry Don Butler.
