William Lee

Mr. William Lee, 85, of Dexter, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Spring Creek Healthcare of Murray.

Mr. Lee was born February 2, 1934 in Calloway County to the late William Elvin and Maydell Byers Lee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from auto body repair.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Lee; three daughters, Deborah Lynn, Dianna Lyn and Sandy Lormand; two sisters, Hazel Scalf and Cleva Jean Scarborough; one grandchild, Teia DeAnne Todd.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Danny Lee of Dexter and Terry Lee of California; a daughter, Valerie Wendling of Dexter; five grandchildren, William Lee of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Cody Lee of Dexter, Michael Lee Koon of Murray, Lori Swift of Murray and Charlotte Denay Koon of Murray, an uncle, Charles Byers of Murray along with a daughter in law, Tonya Walker Grogan.

A graveside service with military honors is set for 1 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Murray Memorial Gardens. John Dale will officiate.

The family of Mr. Lee will receive visitors from 11 AM - 1 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray.

Imes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
