Wesley Cogdell

Mr. Wesley A. Cogdell, age 67, of Murray, Kentucky died at 11:32am Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the St. Thomas Hospital-Midtown, Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Cogdell was born March 4, 1954 in Murray, Kentucky to the late F.A. And Nettie Mae Perry Cogdell.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn R. Tandy.

He is survived by his wife, Renetta F. Tharpe Cogdell; children, Laquincy Ballard, Wesley T. Cogdell, Floyd A. Cogdell, and Neresha Payne; sisters, Linda S. Smith and Judith M. Palmer (Richard); and six grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00pm Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Perry officiating.  Burial will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens and friends may visit from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Thursday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
