MURRAY, Ky. - Services for Walton "Monk" Stallons, 80, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with the Rev. Brett Miles and Dr. Larry Salmon officiating. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Stallons died at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Medical Center in Jasper, Tenn.
He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Senior Citizens and Civitan Club and manager of J & S Citgo in Murray for many years.
Surviving are one daughter, Shelia Stallons McGinnis of Hixson, Tenn.; one son, Rodney Stallons of Leesburg, Fla.; two sisters, Lorene Vowell of Hopkinsville and Barbara Williams of Eddyville; two brothers, Dalton Stallons and Lewis Stallons, both of Cadiz; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Ahart Stallons. His parents were Lewis and Alice Timmons Stallons.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
