Volene Humphreys Young, 93, of Murray died Tuesday at her home.
She was the former co-owner of The Mademoiselle Shop in Murray and a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Surviving are one son, Joe Young of Murray; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Young; one son, Thomas O. Young; two brothers; and one sister. Her parents were Fred and Pearl Smotherman Humphreys.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Imes-Miller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice, Murray-Calloway County Hospital, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
