Mrs. Ruby K. Lindsey, 91, Almo, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 5:10 p.m. at her home. She was married July 14, 1948, to James Monroe Lindsey who died Oct. 20, 2000. Also preceding her death was one brother, Bud H. Manning. Born June 9, 1917, in Puryear, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Michael and Rhoda Lamb Manning. Survivors include one sister, Lillie Mae Bouffard and husband, Roger, Dearborn Heights, Mich. Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
