Ruby Bray

Mrs. Ruby F. Bray, 89, of Murray, Ky., died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Bray was born in Brandon Mills, Ky. on Aug. 9, 1921 to the late Eugene Pittman and Ethel Sills Pittman. Mrs. Bray was a homemaker and of Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bray was preceded in death by her husband, Euel Bray; two sisters, Lora Edwards and Imogene Dworski; as well as one niece, June Giles.

Mrs. Bray is survived by one niece, Sandra Schade of Memphis, Tenn.; one great-niece, Tonya Finney of Memphis, Tenn.; and two great-nephews, Tommy Latner of Nashville, Tenn. and Jimmy Giles of Memphis, Tenn.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
