KIRKSEY, Ky. - Rondel G. Smith, 70, of Kirksey died at 2:23 a.m. Sunday at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Smith was of the Methodist faith and a self-employed master plumber for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Kirk Smith; two daughters, Christi Spann and Kathy Smith-Todd, both of Murray; one sister, Ruth Collett of Mayfield; five grandchildren, Tina Matthew and Selena Hayes, both of Indiana, and Mason Spann, Nathan Smith, and Whitney Todd, all of Murray; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry G. Smith, and a brother. His parents were Willie Smith and Rhoda Rudd Smith Morefield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Imes-Miller Funeral Home in Murray with the Rev. Joe O'Cull and the Rev. Martin Severns officiating. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
