The funeral for Mrs. Robbie Bucy will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. The. Rev. DeWayne Chadwick will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Bucy, 87, Murray, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Britthaven Nursing Home, Benton.
A homemaker, she was a member of the New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Blufford and Nola Marr Allbritten; husband, John T. Bucy; granddaughter-in-law, Stephanie McClard.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol McLard and husband, Gary, Murray, and Brenda Roberts and husband, George, Murray; five grandchildren, Lori Chadwick and husband, DeWayne, Barlow, Ky., Penny Perkins and husband, Aaron, Murray, Angela Hunt and husband, Ron, Warner Robins, Ga., Brian McClard, Hazel, and Marti McClard, Knoxville, Tenn.; eight great-grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth Chadwick, Makenna and Oliva Perkins, Brent and Julia McClard, and Hannah and David Hunt; one sister-in-law, Mary Etta Allbritten, Warren, Mich.
