Phyllis Sue Brandon, 66, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017.
She was born March 24, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to Lyda Sue McMillen of Murray and the late William McMillen.
In 1966, Phyllis married Danny Brandon in Murray, and they later moved to Lexington, where they resided for the last 39 years.
Mrs. Brandon is survived by her sons, Kelly Brandon of Lexington and Keith Brandon of San Clemente, California; a grandson, Michael Brandon and a granddaughter, Emma Brandon; and brothers Jamie McMillen of Murray, Randy McMillen of Paris, David McMillen of Boston, Massachusetts and John McMillen of Boise, Idaho.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Phyllis' name to Hospice of the Bluegrass in Lexington.
