Mr. Paul Max Wilson, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born in Hazel, Kentucky on April 30, 1930 to the late Tosco Wilson and Myrtle Clark Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a retired locksmith, retiring from Mosler Safe Company in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a member of the Murray Masonic Lodge, F. & AM #105, a former 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a former Shriner, an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Sinking Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Oliver; and by one brother, Charles E. Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife Charlotte Grogan Wilson of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on May 19, 1951; one daughter, Paula Wilson Morton and husband Michael of Benton, Kentucky; one son, Kevin Clark Wilson and wife Rose of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kristi Morton Hobbs and husband Chris of Murray, Kentucky, Kala Morton Cary and husband Blake of Benton, Kentucky, Lauren Marie Wilson of Murray, Kentucky and Eric Werner of Nashville, Tennessee; as well as two great grandchildren, Kinlee Ann Marie Hobbs of Murray, Kentucky and Duncan Michael Cary of Benton, Kentucky; and caregiver and special friend, Regina Perry of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until service hour (1:00 p.m.) at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
