Mary Cleaver

Mrs. Mary Kathryn Cleaver age 82, of Almo, Kentucky, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Cleaver was born March 4, 1933 in Almo, Kentucky, to the late Guy Yandell Smith and Mary Frances Hopkins Smith. She was a homemaker, and member of the Almo Church of Christ. She also volunteered several years in the Murray Calloway County Hospital Pharmacy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Cleaver Jr.
Mrs. Cleaver is survived by two daughters, Lisa Fielder and husband David of Antioch, Tennessee, Gena Wilson of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Max Cleaver of Murray, Kentucky, and Kenneth Cleaver and wife Cindy of Almo, Kentucky; sister, Dorothy Shuffett and husband Vernon of Florence, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Ashley O'Barr, Russell Cleaver, Kennette Jones, Emily Stark, Chelsea Hendrick, Gregory Wilson, Michael Fielder, and Bradley Fielder; also eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Priestly Scott and John Dale will officiate. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home
