Madeline Bankes

Mrs. Madeline Bankes, 82 of Almo, died October 2, 2016 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Mrs. Bankes was born December 30, 1933 in Freeland, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph
and Anna Kushner Lawrence. She was a retired seamstress with the Lumars Company
and was a member of St. Leos Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bankes was preceded in death by her husband, Dale M.
Bankes and two brothers, Thomas Lawrence and Bobby Lawrence
Survivors include two sons, Michael Bankes of Almo and Charles E. Bankes (Amy) of
Nashotah Wisconsin; two daughters, JoAnne Moore (Larry) of Murray and Cheryl
Chadwick (Jason) of Murray; one brother, Johnny Lawrence (Mary) of Harrisburg PA;
seven grandchildren, Michael Bankes Jr., Crystal Lavalle, Heidi Foraker, Bernedette
Chadwick, Thomas Moore, Timmy Bankes and Anna Myers along with thirteen great
grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 11 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Leo's Catholic
Church. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 9-11 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Leo's
Catholic Church.
