MURRAY, Ky. - Services for Linnie Ophelia "Tillie" Eldridge Geurin, 85, of Murray will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Ed Davis and Bob Haley officiating. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Geurin died at 7:06 a.m. Monday at Spring Creek Health Care.
A native of Bemis, Tenn., she was a cook and cafeteria manager for Calloway County schools and a member of New Concord Church of Christ.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Parker of Murray; two sons, Kenneth Geurin and Jackie Geurin, both of Murray; two sisters, Lillie Fuqua of Murray and Lurline Bucy of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; one brother, Charles Leroy Eldridge of Murray; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Geurin Sr., and one son, Joe D. Geurin Jr. Her parents were Otis Eldridge and Lonie Steele Eldridge.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to West Kentucky Youth Camp, 301 Youth Camp Road, Marion, KY 42064.
