MURRAY, Ky. - Services for Linda Sue Thornton, 68, of Murray will be at 10 a.m. Friday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Dr. Ron Hamm officiating. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Thornton died at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday at Spring Creek Health Care.
She was a member of North Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Thornton served several ministries with her husband, the late Rev. Joe Pat Thornton.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Hester and Regina Patterson, both of Murray; one son, Tommy Thornton of Lavergne, Tenn.; one sister, Sheila Sinclair of South Fulton, Tenn.; one brother, Jackie Marshall of Murray; seven grandchildren; and two nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. Marshall and Lucille Jones Marshall, and one brother.
