Joseph G. Morgan, 59, formerly of Hazel, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 at 10:49 p.m. at Union County Hospital, Anna, Ill.
A Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of Hazel Church of Christ. Born March 2, 1949, in Calloway County, he was the son of the John Melvin Morgan and Wilda Gay Farley.
Survivors include one brother, Mike Morgan and wife, Jeanie, and one niece, Shelby Morgan, all of Murray.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Murray Memorial Gardens. John Dale will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Imes-Miller Funeral Home.
