Jeffrey Don McClure, 36, of Almo, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Murray on Feb. 8, 1975, he was employed with his family owned and operated business Happy Holiday Travel in Murray. He was also a 1993 graduate of Calloway County High School and was a member of the Flint Baptist Church.
Preceding in death were his paternal grandparents, Grayson and Aline McClure; maternal grandparents, Wavel and Hattie Osbron; and father-in-law, the Rev. Ronnie McPherson.
He is survived by his wife, Alisha McPerson McClure of Almo, whom he married on Aug. 2, 1997; one daughter, Hillary Gracen McClure of Almo; parents, Don and Marsha Osbron McClure of Murray; one brother, Jason McClure and wife, Tara of Murray; mother-in-law, Barbara McPerson Thomas of Smithland; brother-in-law, Wesley McPherson of Colorado; and nieces and nephews, Mirinda, Brice and Addyson, McClure of Murray, Breanna McPherson of Benton, and KayLeigh and Shawn Pugh, both of Murray.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Glenn Cope and Jim Simmons officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be tonight, Saturday, after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
