Mr. J.T. Bucy, 85, Stella, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at his home.
He was born March 9, 1925, in Springville, Tenn. He was an Army veteran of WWII, a dairy farmer and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Mr. Bucy was preceded in death by his spouse, Anita Ackerman Bucy, in February 2009; three brothers, Johnny, Carlos, and Bobby Bucy; parents Guy and Kate Wainscott Bucy.
Mr. Bucy is survived by two sons, Dale Bucy, and wife, Marsha, of Murray and Jay Michael Bucy, and wife, Barbara, of Louisville; one sister, Lorene Wells of Paris, Tenn.; three brothers, Pete Bucy of Paris, Tenn., Billy Bucy of Detroit, Mich., and Dickie Bucy of Paris, Tenn.; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Garry Evans will officiate, and entombment will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
