H.T. (Duke) Danner, 90, South 10th Street, Murray, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at 6:45 a.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A retired painter, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy Harris Danner, and one son, Ronnie Danner. Born June 9, 1918, in Weakley County, Tenn., he was the son of the late Noah Danner and Flora Bradley Danner.
Survivors include one son, Don Danner and wife, Ann, Murray; one grandchild, Robbie Danner and wife, Buffy, San Diego, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, Reese and Riley.
The funeral will be Friday at noon in the chapel of J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Martin Severns and Larry Gilmore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. today (Thursday).
