Hafford West Morris, 84, Kirksey, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at 7:19 p.m. at Lourdes Hospital, Paducah.
He was a retired employee of the former Murray Division of the Tappan Company and of Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Born Aug. 27, 1924, he was the son of the late Henry and Ballie West Morris. Also preceding him in death were one brother, Charles Edward Morris, and four sisters, Vera Yarborough, Lois Curd, Carrie Perry and Evelyn Haywood.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Beach Morris; one son, Allen Morris, Mayfield; one daughter, Sheila Newberry, and one brother, Brent Morris and wife, Oneida, all of Murray; one sister, Vida Bucy and husband, Van, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Mitchell Tidwell; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Ethan Tidwell.
