MURRAY, Ky. - Services for George C. Wilson, 92, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Friday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Richard Youngblood officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wilson died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at Spring Creek Health Care.
Mr. Wilson was an electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Wilson was a member of University Church of Christ and Murray Masonic Lodge No. 105 F&AM.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Wisner of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Peggy Shoemaker of Murray; one brother, Wayne Wilson of Murray; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie McCuiston Wilson; two sisters; and two brothers. His parents were Andrew J. Wilson and Lurley Burton Wilson.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
