MURRAY, Ky. - Edrie Goret Singleton, 91, of Murray died Thursday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Singleton retired from Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah as an administrative assistant. She was a member of First Christian Church in Murray and its Christian Women's Fellowship and a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
Surviving are her husband, Robert E. "Bob" Singleton; and one daughter, Vicki Singleton of Murray.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Her parents were Samuel J. and Natalie Marie Chaussard Goret.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Murray Memorial Gardens with Ruth Ragovin officiating.
Friends may call from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Christian Church, 111 N. Fifth St., Murray, KY 42071.
