Mr. Donald Edward Eubanks age 83, of Benton, Kentucky, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Eubanks was born on September 14, 1933 in Monrovia, Indiana to the late Russell Eubanks and Jesse Speck Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks was a retired truck driver and a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a founding member of the Aurora Christian Church, were he served as a lay minister, elder and Sunday school teacher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Joan Swope Eubanks; sister, Betty Wright; and two brothers, Bob Eubanks and Walter Eubanks.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Ann Eubanks of Draffenville, Kentucky, Nellie Lorraine Warren and husband David of Sedalia, Kentucky and Charlene Dee Knight and husband Terry of Almo, Kentucky; one son, Michale Lee Wright and wife Kim of Fort Walton, Florida; one brother, Gene Eubanks and wife Elma of Monrovia, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jevan Sheppard, Amanda Mathis and husband Jonathan, Bradley Knight and wife Kimberly, Jacob Warren, Obie Wright, Sarah Wright and Logan Wright; four great grandchildren, Emiersyn Mathis, Lilliayn Mathis, Collier Wright and Daisy Delk.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Brad Brauser will officiate and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
