Dianne Bucy

Mrs. Dianne Colson Bucy, 77, of Murray, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 25, 2018 with her family by her side.

Dianne was born to Starkie Clyde and Cora Obera Outland Colson on March 6, 1941 in Calloway County. She owned and operated Bucy's Store in Almo with her husband, Howard. She was a member of Sinking Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisha Key, (James "Jimbo") and Shaun Workman (Greg) both of Murray; a special cousin, Betty Sue Vinson of Murray; four grandchildren, Kirby Waldrop Ford (Justin), Whitney Workman Bridges (Brandon), Jamie Key and Gage Workman; five great grandchildren and a special pet, "Chico".

Her husband, Howard Bucy, her parents and her brothers, Starkie Clyde, Jr., Clive, W.C. "Dub", Rudell and Odell and Aaron Colson all preceded her in death

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home. Chris McKenzie will officiate. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens. Bill Colson, Blake Colson, Ronnie Colson, Donnie Bucy, Justin Ford and Brandon Bridges will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive visitors between 5 - 8PM Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Heritage Chapel, 1804 SR 121 N. Bypass, Murray.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Anna Mae Owen Hospice House, c/o Murray Calloway County Endowment for Healthcare, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
