Funeral services for Cathy Sue Miller, 51, of Murray, Ky., will be held Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. The Rev. Richard Burkeen will officiate. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray. Visitation will also be Friday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Miller died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at 12:23 p.m. at the Western Baptist Hospital emergency room in Paducah.
Born March 31, 1960, in Murray, she was a graduate of South Marshall High School and held a masters of science in nursing from Murray State University. She had worked with Britthaven Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benton and with Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Calvert City. She was a member of the Dexter Hardin United Methodist Church.
She was the daughter of Billy Ray Miller, of Hardin and the late Launa Ray (Sholar) Miller.
She is survived by two aunts, Georgia Miller, of Benton and Jane Morton, of Aurora; and one uncle Horace Sholar and wife, Glenda, of Aurora.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home.
