Beverly Dene Johnson (nee Thorn), age 55, of Alexandria, KY (formerly of Murray, KY) passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2016. Beverly was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Community Based Services in Covington, KY. She was a member of Summit Church of Christ, Cold Spring, KY. Beverly is survived by her husband and daughter, Barry and Megan Ann Johnson both of Alexandria, KY; her family from Murray, KY; sister-in-law, Brenda Thorn; cousins, Janeen Burkeen and Kathran Newsom; three nephews, Chris, Chad and Matt. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee Thorn and Wanza (nee Edwards) Thorn; brother, Joel "Bubba" Thorn. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm with Funeral Services immediately following at 7pm at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St., Alexandria, KY 41001.
