Mr. Benjamin Curtis ("BJ") Newton, age 35, of Kirksey, Kentucky died at 4:30pm Monday, May 29, 2017 in a motorcycle accident in Henry County, Tennessee.
He was born April 8, 1982 in Murray, Kentucky to the Robert Clay Newton & Sharon Kay Boggess Dodson. He was a graduate of Calloway County High School.
He is survived by his children, Rileigh Marie Newton and Reagan Brooks Newton, Murray; mother, Sharon Kay Boggess Dodson (Kenneth), Hardin; father, Robert Clay Newton (Karen), Murray; grandmother, Delorise Boggess, Kirksey; aunt, Nell Gartman, Texas; uncle, Terry Boggess, Almo; cousins, Brandon Boggess, Louisville, Lindsey Gartman, FL, and Cody Gartman, TX.
The funeral service will be at 11:00am Thursday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens and friends may visit the family from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude's Research Hospital or Murray-Calloway County Hospital Hospice.
