Alvin Brandon Jr

Mr. Alvin Brandon Jr., age 83, of New Concord, Kentucky died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Paris Healthcare in Paris, Tennessee
Mr. Brandon was born in Murray, Kentucky on May 16, 1934 to the late Alvin P. Brandon and Trudy Walker Steindorf. Mr. Brandon was a retired carpenter.
Mr. Brandon is survived by his wife Rebecca Ray Brandon of New Concord, Kentucky to whom he married on December 21, 1953 in Corinth, Mississippi; one daughter, Cindy Pittman and husband Benny of New Concord, Kentucky; one son, Franky Brandon and wife Sheila of Murray, Kentucky; two sister-in-law's, Myra Brandon of Paducah, Kentucky and Martha Brandon of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Lacey Wilder and husband Chris of New Concord, Kentucky and Adam Brandon and wife Courtney of Benton, Kentucky; as well as three great-grandchildren, Ashton Pittman of New Concord, Kentucky, Skyler Brandon of Benton, Kentucky, and Brody Brandon of Benton, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents Mr. Brandon is preceded in death by five brothers, Marshall Brandon, Wilford Brandon, Frank Brandon, Gene Brandon, and Wasson Brandon.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens Cemetery with John Dale officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
