MURRAY, Ky. - Services for Alice Oakley, 91, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial will be at Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Oakley died at 4:10 a.m. Tuesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She was a native of Lenoir City, Tenn., and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Oakley was a retired nurse's assistant, having worked nine years at Murray-Calloway County Hospital and two years at Westview Nursing Home.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Kay Kirks of Dexter; two sons, Joe Oakley and Jimmy Oakley, both of Murray; one half brother, Gene Ford of Hopkinsville; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis Oakley; three infant sisters; three sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Jack Ford and Mary Elizabeth Ford Parker.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
